Team Manager – Quality Control (Rome)

As part of our development, we are looking for a Rome based project in the premises of one of the leading national heritage institution our Digitization and Quality Control Project Manager.
Details
- Starts in July for a 12-month contract, renewable
- Work Monday to Thursday from 08:30 to 17:30 and Friday from 08:30 to 16:30
- Gross annual salary: 27 500€ spread over 14 months + meal vouchers

Missions
Working close and reporting directly to the Senior project manager, your main missions revolve around the following two axes:
Management of a digitization project, from the integration of customer specifications to the delivery of the service:
- Ensure that the service is carried out in compliance with the objectives in terms of quality, cost and deadline
- Control the quality of the scanning production
- Implement the necessary corrective actions if necessary
- Be able to replace an operator during an absence to respect the planning
- Carry out regular reporting to operations management
- Manage a team of 2 digitization operators
Animation of customer relations
- Assist the Senior project manager to ensure regular communication with the client, particularly on the achievement of the main identified milestones and the progress of projects
- Assist the Senior project manager to lead progress updates with the client
- Report customer alerts and ensure the resolution of any anomalies.
Educational background and technical knowledge
Holder of a bachelor or a master, speaking with a good level of English (international working environment), you have at least a first experience in project management. You have a taste for managing people and projects, and a real sense of customer service. Your interpersonal skills allow you to interact fluidly with internal and external stakeholders in the project.
You are recognized as being voluntary, curious, organized, rigorous and having an affinity for teamwork while being autonomous and versatile.
We will provide all the training necessary, from the scanners to the softwares to use and the scanning skills to handle heritage collections. You will join and lead a team of 2 operators.
Technical knowledge
- Good experience of the Windows environment
- Notions of photography (analogy or digital)
- Notion of Photoshop, excel, and the Office Suite tools
- Good English or French skills (working environment language)
- Heritage, history or cultural experience or interest
